Terms & Conditions for Casson Holidays

Casson Holidays include “Lakeland Views” & “Studio Lanzarote”.

1) A provisional booking made via telephone, in person, post or e-mail will remain firm for a period of seven days until which time a deposit or full amount must be paid. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, unless terminated by the owner of Casson Holidays.

2) Outstanding balance payments must be received no later than 28 days prior to the holiday arrival date. Should a cancellation be made prior to payment of the full balance, only the deposit sum of £100 will be forfeited. If a cancellation is made after the full balance has been paid, 50% of the total hire charge will be payable. If less than 7 days notice of cancellation is received, then the total hire charge will be payable.

3) A £100 security deposit will be added to the balance payment and will be returned following your departure should the apartment/Caravan be deemed clean and tidy to an acceptable level and free of damage. You must notify the Property Manager / Owner immediately of any damage caused during your stay. This security deposit remains at the discression of the Property Manager / Owner.

4) The apartment/ caravan will be available to the named occupants during the period shown on the confirmation letter or email received from the Property Manager / Owner.

5) (Apartment Only) The apartment sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults 2 children and at no time must be exceeded.

6) (Caravan Only) The caravan is 6 berth and at no time must be exceeded.

7) The main hirer must be 25 or older, however this remains at the discretion of the Property Manager / Owner and, dependent on circumstances, the hirer maybe of a younger age, but no younger than 21 years. The hirer must remain present during the occupancy period of the caravan / apartment.

8) (Caravan Only) Some facilities at all Haven sites require "Fun Works" passes which you can purchase from Haven, passes are not included in this booking.

9) (Caravan Only) The caravan is only available for rent by families and responsible couples only. The park will not allow all male or all female parties. Mixed adult groups under 25 are permitted at the owner's discretion.

10) For hygiene reasons, strictly NO PETS allowed.

11) SMOKING - Strictly NO SMOKING inside caravan. However smoking is permitted on the outside decking area. Please do NOT discard Cigarettes on the decking. Strictly NO SMOKING inside the apartment. However smoking is permitted on the outside balcony area. Please do NOT discard Cigarettes on the balcony or over the wall.

12) Unacceptable behaviour: We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation, where unreasonable or anti-social behaviour caused by those persons named on the booking or their guests impairs the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests.

13) The area surrounding the caravan / apartment must be kept clean and tidy at all times.

14) (Caravan Only) Clothes are to be dried on the airer provided, at no time are they to be dried over heaters. Clothes lines are not to be erected.

15) (Caravan Only) No tents or canopies.

16) (Caravan Only) Park speed limits must not be exceeded.

17) (Caravan Only) In the event of behaviour likely to cause offence or damage to other users of the facilities, the park management reserve the right to remove any offenders from the park without redress

18) (Caravan Only) All persons using the entertainment complex must honour the Lakelands leisure park rules. Membership is discretionary and may be withdrawn at any time by the park management.

19) (Apartment Only) All persons using the pool bar complex must honour the pool bar rules.

20) Please keep noise to a minimum and show consideration to other holiday makers and occupants at all times.

21) Proof of ID must be shown by the named hirer (driving licence or passport) for the collection of keys.

22) Litter and refuse must be disposed of in the designated areas provided by the complex.

23) (Caravan Only) Ball games are to be played in designated areas and not between caravans.

24) (Caravan Only) No motorcycles are allowed on the park without the express written permission of the park manager.

25) (Caravan Only) Please remove all dirty footwear on entering the caravan.

26) (Caravan Only) The use of barbecues is permitted, however, please keep well away from the van & decking area and place on grassy area.

27) Do not disarm smoke alarms. Press hush panel located on the alarms themselves should they be activated during cooking activity.

28) (Caravan Only) All electrical and domestic goods, including boiler, must be switched off upon leaving the caravan.

29) Duvets, pillows, sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers, towels, tea towels and wash cloths are provided.

30) Caravan Park rules apply, Apartment complex rules apply.

31) (Caravan Only) Please do not park cars on grassy areas. Please use tarmac driveway at all times. Use designated overflow car parks provided by the park if necessary. Please approach driveway with caution as it may have a steep incline.

32) We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property including motor vehicles whether malicious or accidental during your stay.

33) Personal travel insurance is not included in the cost of your holiday and, if required, remains the responsibility of the occupants.
